Meet The Maker - Sonnaz
From a young age, I had long dreamt of building a creative business.
I knew it would have something to do with sewing because I always had an affinity for cutting fabric and being on a sewing machine. I began my career as an apprentice for a luxury yacht builder, which helped me to hone my craft and solidify my passion for creating even further. The rest as they say… is history.
I fell in love with the history of our craft, exploring traditional methods and techniques of creating, and earned a great respect for those that create with purpose and wish to have a positive impact on the planet.

The desire to create is innate in all of us, and to work to our full potential whilst encouraging individual and collective development is part of our ethos

Proud upholstery expert on BBCs The Repair Shop. The show boasts an antidote to throwaway culture, The Repair Shop shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country. Through each episode we also celebrate the incredible artisans, makers and creatives taking treasured family airlooms and transforming them into modern day masterpeices.
